02 Can Edgedly place or change an order?
No. Brokerage connections are read-only. Edgedly records executed trades and positions for journaling, but it cannot place, change, or cancel orders.
03 How many brokerage connections are available?
The connection catalog currently covers 35+ financial institutions across multiple regions. The available options are shown in the secure connection portal and can change as coverage expands.
04 What does the Free limit count?
Free includes up to 50 individual trades added to the journal per UTC calendar month. Deleting a trade does not restore the monthly allowance.
05 When does Edgedly use AI?
On Pro, you can request analysis for trades, periods, symbols, the calculator, the screener, and general chat. You can also opt into scheduled market-intel emails. Edgedly does not send unprompted performance coaching.
06 Do risk rules stop me from trading?
No. Risk rules are retrospective warnings calculated from trades already in the journal. They help you review daily loss, trade count, and consecutive losses, but they do not monitor or block brokerage orders in real time.
07 Does it support options and multi-day positions?
Yes. Edgedly records option contract details and lifecycle events, keeps multi-leg trades together, and can link positions that continue across sessions into one play.
